Over the past few weeks, our Branch has been busy with a number of activities that highlight what the Royal Canadian Legion represents in our community — remembrance, service, and connection.

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, recent events have run smoothly and have continued to bring members, families, and neighbours together in a welcoming environment. From informal social evenings to planning meetings behind the scenes, the Branch remains active because of the time and energy given by those who care deeply about its future.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped with setup, service, cleanup, and coordination. Whether you volunteered for an hour or spent an entire day supporting an activity, your contribution made a difference. These efforts allow us to maintain our spaces, support veterans, and offer programming that benefits the wider Lachine community.

Looking ahead, the Executive is currently preparing several upcoming initiatives that we look forward to sharing soon. Planning takes time, and we appreciate the patience and support of our members as details are finalized. As always, our goal is to ensure that activities align with Legion values and remain accessible, respectful, and community-focused.

We also want to remind members that the Branch is always open to new ideas and additional volunteers. If you are interested in helping with events, administrative support, or behind-the-scenes work, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Even small contributions of time can have a meaningful impact.
